I started this blog as I was just beginning my career as a teacher; 2012-2013 was my first year teaching. You will note that after August, this blog fell by the wayside. Teaching is just as difficult (and at times discouraging) as they tell you.
In my first year, I taught Georgia’s on-level 9th grade math course, CCGPS Coordinate Algebra, and its associated Support class. This year, I’ve got three sections of Coordinate Algebra and two of CCGPS Analytic Geometry (on-level 10th grade).
My twitter account is at @mathsmithed, which I guess could be read as “Mathsmith Ed[ucation]” or as a verb/participle. Either works, I suppose.
